Reporting to the Director, Healthy Team, the
Manager, Total Rewards and Systems is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our total rewards programs and HR systems.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Total Rewards

  • Enhance and administer a comprehensive total rewards program, including oversight of Holland Bloorview's compensation programs and administration, including annual salary adjustments, benchmarking, and job evaluation. Analyze compensation data and market trends to inform recommendations for adjustments to our compensation programs.
  • Ensure Holland Bloorview's total reward administration guidelines are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to leaders and employees on compensationrelated matters, including salary negotiations and rates for job offers.
  • Build relationships with external providers and partner with them to assess the ongoing effectiveness of employee benefit programs. Develop recommendations to enhance total rewards.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness of compensation and benefits packages.

Systems

  • Oversee Holland Bloorview's HRIS and Applicant Tracking System, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness in supporting systemrelated processes. Identify opportunities to optimize system functionality and streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with the Information Management Team and the Decision Support Team to optimize system functionality in supporting processes and datadriven decision making.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the HRIS, implementing appropriate controls and protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to compensation, benefits, and HR data management.


This position participates in a variety of quality improvement initiatives and supports the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Completion of postgraduate studies within a compensationrelated area.
  • Minimum 57 years' experience overseeing total rewards and benefits functions at a leadership level.
  • Minimum 3 years practical experience overseeing HR database administration, at a leadership level.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing total rewards strategies and programs in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
  • Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion. Ability to demonstrate high ethical standards of inclusiveness and recognizes and respects the value of diversity within our workplace and the community.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines.
