    Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

    Rehab First is one of Ontario`s largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, numbering approximately 120 professional staff who are supported by our MEDNet roster, and administrative team.     We are seeking an experienced Registered Psychologist to work on either a part time or full time basis, or to contract their services to Rehab First, and to work from our London clinic located at 1599 Adelaide St. N., Suite 201, London, ON N5X 4E8.

    Rehab First requires Psychologists to provide both assessment and treatment services to our diverse client population. If you have an interest in assessing and treating people with mental health conditions (i.e. depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, psychosomatic disorders, etc.), or people who have sustained other significant injuries or illnesses, please send us your resume, and talk to us about joining our team.

    We are looking for Psychologists who have interest in performing Neuropsychological, Psychovocational and Psychoeducational Assessments, and Psychologists who are interested in providing ongoing treatment and mental health support to our clients after assessment, either one to one or in group settings.     As a Psychologist you will work closely with Rehab First's interdisciplinary rehabilitation team (i.e., Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Case Managers, Registered Psychotherapists, Rehab and Behavioural Support Workers and, Social Workers). You will participate in and guide case reviews and case conferences. You will formulate, recommend and help to develop treatment plans to support clients.

    Key Qualifications:

    • You have a Ph.D. or a doctorate in Psychology from a university program that is accredited and recognized by the Canadian Psychological Association
    • You are currently registered and in good standing as a Psychologist, authorized to provide autonomous practice, with the Ontario College of Psychologists
    • You have two years or more of full time, post-graduate work experience
    • Within the last 5 years, you have completed psycho-diagnostic assessments, including differential diagnosis
    • You provide psycho-behavioural assessment and treatment methods that are recognized and accepted by your peers
    • You are able to manage a diverse caseload within a dynamic work setting
    • You have developed professional work ethics and behaviours, and can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers
