Assembler - Metro Vancouver Regional District, Canada - Cranked Out - Bicycle Repair & Assembly

Hello,

We are looking to add a new member to our mobile assembly team.

The position is for an assembler. In short, we service big box retailers around GVRD and assemble their store displays on-site. Bicycles are 95% of what we assemble, along with flat-pack furniture, barbecues, wheelbarrows etc. We provide all the tools and equipment.

Pay starts at $ /hour and will increase with proficiency (we can qualify that in the interview).

We are looking for someone who is willing to work Monday and Tuesday at a number of locations in the greater Vancouver region.

The following are the absolute requirements for the position:

• Has own car
• Fit, and able to work on feet all day
• Mechanically inclined and enjoys handson work
• Strives for efficiency of workflow
• Comfortable working with hand tools, small drills, and impact wrenches.
• Friendly and enthusiastic

*bicycle mechanic experience helps, but we're happy to train you from the ground up

This position is seasonal, which means you will be temporarily laid off during our "off season" which spans from November to early February.
