Our Mississauga office has an immediate opening for an
Accounts Receivables / Payables Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Administer Accounts Receivable Functions in ACCPAC/Sage ERP system and adhere to credit policy, procedures and compliance.
- Perform credit checks on new WCorp
- WAI customers and ensure all required documents are on file.
- Generate weekly AR Aged analysis and monitor past due customer accounts and other irregularities.
- Make collections calls and follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Prepare daily Bank Deposits and charge customer visa account for COD payments.
- Reconcile monthly accounts receivable subledger with General Ledger.
- Process accounts payable invoices for inventory and noninventory items in ACCPAC/Sage EPR system.
- Process vendors credit notes and adjustments in accounts payable ACCPAC/Sage EPR System.
- Prepare VISA expense reports for office credit cards and post to AP
- Order office and kitchen supplies and replenish items at low levels.
- Prepare yearend audit working papers for accounts receivables and payables.
- Assist with Month End Closing
- Filing all accounts receivable and payables records.
- Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Corporate Controller.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of at least five years' experience in the Accounts Receivable/Payables or General Accounting field.
- Knowledge and skills of ACCPAC/SAGE ERP system.
- Knowledge and skills in Microsoft office.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and interpretation skills.
Education:
- Highschool graduation at least grade 1
- Minimum Certificate in Accounting or Business Administration from a recognized College.
