Job summary
As part of a Flare Gas to Power Infrastructure company the Scheduler will have the opportunity to contribute immediately and learn marketing and logistics aspects of different commodities This position is primarily responsible for managing and optimizing the movement of commodities via truck and pipeline while also providing mid-office support to the marketing team The successful candidate will be personable have strong analytical and communication skills and a passion for learning This position will be based out of the Calgary office reporting directly to the Team Lead Logistics
Responsibilities
- Production forecasting and inventory management for natural gas liquids NGLs
- Manage coordinate and optimize transportation arrangements for receipts deliveries of NGLs condensate including trucking pipeline Manage product nominations pipelines NGLs condensate in Canada US Work closely with internal external teams on quality specifications inventories production outages Work with Gas Marketing team coverage Close relationships with all counter parties Some eveningon call work is required Assist accounting teams month-end activities including reporting volumes calculating accruals freight wait-time Provide information marketers traders optimize marketing arrangements
BComm Engineering Accounting other relevant post-secondary education - years related experience prior experience liquids crude scheduling preferred Understanding commodity markets processes billings logistics cycles NGL or crude scheduling experience required rail experience asset Positive attitude Ability perform well under pressure Team player company wide perspective Strong communication interpersonal skills Detail oriented Prioritization Going above beyond Passion career contributing towards company growth
