- Ordering parts for shop equipment repair
- Purchasing and maintaining levels of supplies for welders
- Purchasing and maintaining levels of production and facility consumables
- Purchasing and maintaining levels of safety supplies and equipment
- Purchase bottled gasses
- Acquisition of small tools, equipment
- Sourcing and obtaining quotes from all available suppliers as required
- Manage shop floor Kan Ban Systems
- Manage production purchasing accounts
- Maintain stock levels in production
- Work within production cell teams regarding supply of goods
- Coordinate leased equipment
- Coordinate Alsco Linen Services (coverall and work clothing, etc.)
- Coordinate the disposal of waste and scrap
- Work with Accounts Payable coding packing slips
- Keep track of employee purchases and write up invoices
- Work with all stakeholders on capex projects
- Other duties as required
- Obtain training and participate in Lean initiatives as required by management
