Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to load HVAC units on trucks using a forklift and overhead cranes
Provide unit measurements for shipping
Schedule shipments online and via phone
Pack items for shipping and distribution
Prepare shipping documentation
Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials.
Verify receipts and packing slips with purchase orders, receive orders in the system
Place and Organize stock on the shelves
Record the quantity, type and value of stock on hand using computerized inventory system
Monitor inventory levels in the system and in shop
Reconcile calculated inventories with physical counts
Conduct quality control
Respect health and safety regulations
Pick and organize job Bill of Materials

Additional Duties:

Perform routine clerical duties. Keep parts area organized and clean, Provide information on materials available

Job Qualifications:

3 years experienced in Forklift and a Forklift certification is required
Experience with driving a flat deck
Must have a valid driver's license
Excellent computer skills including MS office (Word, outlook, Excel)
Experience with shipping and receiving duties
Initiative, Leadership and Team spirit
Customer service oriented and good interpersonal relationships
Crane and Rigging experience is a ASSET

Own Tools/Equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Bending, Kneeling, Lifting and moving boxes and stock.
