Description

The Ottawa Escape Room Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for inspection, repair and upkeep of 15+ escape rooms across 4 venues in the Ottawa region under the guidance of the Director of Escape Operations and executive leadership.

In addition, the Escape Room Maintenance Supervisor will temporarily oversee the adherence to standard operating procedures and policies in the Director's absence.

Inspection and repair

Attend regular venue inspections with managers
Create task lists to address deficiencies and repairs in experiences with clear deadlines
Follow up on repair and maintenance todo list
Use Trello to document lists and progress as a ticket management tool
Chair biweekly meeting with area managers to review lists and problem areas
Prepare a weekly progress report for executive management (Chris, Steve, Ben)
Work with management to schedule maintenance from qualified professionals when they are beyond the team's scope of skill sets.

Front-line touch base

Review NPS scores on weeklybasis and provide feedback to management teams
Consult with frontline teams for firsthand feedback
Work with management to have every staff member in the building play all of the escape rooms.
Oversight of standard operating procedures, ensuring frontline staff are adhering to escape operation policies

The Escape Room Maintenance Supervisor will work a flexible schedule and must be able to reliably get to all Escape Manor venues in the Ottawa region, including the Diefenbunker in Carp.

Shifts may include early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed to meet the demands of each venue.

The Escape Room Maintenance Supervisor contract would begin September 2023 through March 2024. Continued employment may be a possibility looking ahead to 2024 needs.

Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

Salary:
$35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
