Overview:
The warehouse associate handles a variety of tasks through the day. Most will be to pick/pack/ship parts with various couriers/transports. Assist warehouse manager in receiving and shipping equipment orders. Abilities to multitask and serve walk in customers.

Receiving & picking of equipment is done with a forklift, Parts are manually picked and may require the use of a forklift or parts picker.

Some equipment assembly is required. A general knowledge of our equipment, mechanical parts and product lines is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.


Responsibilities:


  • Performs receiving/Shipping process to include small parcels (UPS, Purolator, FedEx, GLS), skids (LTL) and larger flatbed / direct to customer loads
  • Basic knowledge of operating a forklift
  • Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. All variances and damages must be documented or reported to his or her supervisor/manager or Plant Manager.
  • Responsible for packing and crating of products and materials to customers.
  • Properly labels and handles shipments, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped according to the paperwork.
  • Performs loading duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards. Maintains a clean, net and orderly work area.
  • Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
  • Performs labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as needed; repairs pallets when necessary;
  • All other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent; three to six months experience in related field in a manufacturing/distribution environment
  • Forklift Certified Required
  • Computer Skills: MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Experience with SAP (or similar software) desirable.
  • Proficient in operating a forklift
  • Demonstrated experience in accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Both English and French.
  • Team player but also able to work independently
  • Excellent work ethic

  • Highly organized
  • Strong Multitasking ability
