Job brief_

Our company is looking for a detailed-oriented Quality Control Specialist (QC).

Responsibilities_
Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPS)
Presanitize check to ensure the product is ready for production
Keep track & record of product description details, ie. Temperature etc.
Conduct regular check on both raw material and finished product in accordance with the quality standard
Assure the quality of produce entering the warehouse and advise if the product should be accepted or rejected
Screen out products with deficiencies
Liaison with shipping & receiving department and purchasing agents for any product concerns
Job Terms_
Job Type: Permanent Fulltime, 40 hours per week, adjustment pending on business need

Probationary Period: 3-months or 480 hours, whichever longer
Work Location: 2501-A Standfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R- Shift Requirement: Must be flexible on Sunday to Fridays depending on operation needs

Compensation: Starting at $42,000 per year depends on experience level
Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time
Qualifications_
Strong & comprehensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
College or equivalent diploma required
Experience with Internal Auditing as an asset
