Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support childcare center staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback as needed.
- Develop and implement ageappropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, enrollment, and budget management.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor the progress and development of each child.
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance the childcare center's programs and services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a childcare setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or equivalent qualification required; and membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Current Vulnerable Sector check
- All required immunizations to work in childcare setting up to date.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and staff members.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including problemsolving, decisionmaking, and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with licensing regulations and quality assurance standards in Ontario.
