Location:
Toronto, Ontario

Duration:
January-April months) with a possible extension to August 2023

Position:
Human Resources Co-op

Compensation:
approx. $21/hr, 37.5 hrs per week

Work location:
Hybrid; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the incumbent will:

Support the HR team in day-to-day partnership with client group to provide advice and counsel to colleagues on HR related issues and concerns
Assist with general HR programs and initiatives
Respond to employment inquiries
Other admin support as required

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a professional business environment
Consumer Packaged Goods experience is an asset
Understanding of relevant HR legislation and best practices
Previous experience with recruitment and familiarity with behavioral interview techniques
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently
