The Opportunity:

Lotek is currently looking for a highly motivated individual capable of working in a team environment within our Production Test group.

Requirements:

Must have Electronics Engineering Technician/Technology diploma or equivalent.
Must have five or more years of electronics technologist or related
Proficiency with handson hardware building, testing and
Must have operational familiarity with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscope, power supplies, network analyzers, spectrum analyzer etc.).
Knowledge of automation control systems and hardware
Skills and experience making production jigs to improve productivity and quality.
Surface mount soldering capability using a microscope is an
Strong communication skills, team player and results
Knowledge of

Microsoft Office:
Word and Excel

Duties:

Analyze and interprets test and calibration
Set up standard test apparatus or devise test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production models.
Recommend changes in circuitry, installation specifications and testing methodology to simplify assembly and test procedures to improve productivity and quality.
Assembles experimental circuitry or complete prototype
Design, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify special testing equipment/setup for testing of electronic components, parts, and
Participate in developing methods to automate manual testing
Root cause analysis and trouble shooting of returned goods as part of returned goods services.
