The Account Processing team is responsible for the daily processing of cheque deposits, Remote Deposit Capture and Tangerine cheque clearing within the bank, Garnishment / RTP/Bankruptcy/ Court Order/Consumer Proposal and other government issued client related requests
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Daily completion of Remote Deposit Capture, Tangerine cheque clearing, cheque verification, entering data, and client/account investigation. Examines all incoming cheques for endorsements and verify other information such as dates, amount, payee and proper encoding
- Actively participate in team meetings, achieve department and individual goals and build positive relationships with internal and external clients
- Ensure timely printing and delivery of outgoing Bank drafts into proper mail/courier streams
- Review all incoming government issued client related documentation to ensure information is correct and is actioned within bank policy and government legislation.
- Utilize scanning equipment to capture items for image processing
- Perform manual functions such as letter folding and envelope insertion, sort, seal and affix correct postage on outgoing mail
- Comply with the Tangerine Code of Conduct

- Commit to proactive and ongoing improvement of skills and the continued acquisition of knowledge
- Strong investigative skill set to be able to test and problem solve
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively alone and with other internal and external specialists while in a high volume environment and fastpaced environment
- Proficiency in Windows Operating system and MS Office
- Bilingualism (English/French) is required
