- Review Mechanical Flow Sheets and scope of supply and prepare master summary list utilizing Propak's Lot / Split system.
- Prepare vessel/exchanger fabrication and piping material and labor estimates in accordance with in-house procedures and estimating templates.
- Prepare valve and instrumentation takeoffs and obtain competitive pricing from suppliers.
- Reviews, queries, and understands the scope of work, specifications, and standards.
- Attends fabrication estimates reviews with Management when required.
- A two-year diploma in a Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering Technology
- Training is available as required to enhance competencies as an Estimator.
- Understands the scope of work, specifications / standards, material selection.
- Understands the fabrication / erection sequences and applies the same for estimation.
- Apply practical knowledge and develop broad based skills while contributing to the overall success of Propak's operations through interaction with a cross functional team.
- Working with Engineers, understands the development of conceptual and detailed fabricated design.
- Undertakes effective daily planning and completes tasks on time.
- Maintains a professional attitude under times constraints, multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Ability to interact with other trades, managers, directors.
- Ability to prepare quotes for vendors.
