Responsibilities:

• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence.
• Understand, implement and maintain compliance with BC's childcare regulations
• Provide personalized instruction to support students' holistic development.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage parents in their child's learning journey.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom that inspires creativity and ownership.
• Stay updated on the latest early childhood education practices.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the facility
• Other duties as required

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Active and Valid Early Childhood Education Assistant Licence
• First aid certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour
