Successful applicants will possess the following:

  • University Degree or college Diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or a combination of
education, workplace training, and experience deemed to be acceptable by the Corporation.

  • Three years experience with AMANDA Administration, and ability to write and debug Oracle

PL/SQL database procedures:
o Experience of SQL/SQL*Plus and PL/SQL

  • Experience working with Oracle relational databases
  • Experience working with Crystal Reports
  • Experience working with HTML, HTML5, XML, and Java scripts is an asset
  • Experience working with API is an asset

an ability and willingness to adopt new technology and best practices as required.

  • Ability to manage crisis situations, which may involve complex technical problems.
  • Continuously keeps up to date with the latest technologies.

information both verbally and in writing using lay terminology.

  • Ability to exercise discretion, judgement and work independently on assigned duties with
minimum supervision.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computers and Windows based computer
including advanced proficiency of MS Excel.

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility,
performing multiple tasks concurrently, and responding to emergency situations effectively.

  • Ability to act in a professional manner and treat endusers with respect and courtesy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a team.
  • Must be able to recognize sensitive information and preserve confidentiality.
  • Must be prepared to undergo a Criminal Reference Check as a condition of employment.
Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package, pension plan, and a salary ranging from
$43.03/hr. to $47.81/hr. based on a 35 hour work week.
