Successful applicants will possess the following:
- University Degree or college Diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or a combination of
- Three years experience with AMANDA Administration, and ability to write and debug Oracle
PL/SQL database procedures:
o Experience of SQL/SQL*Plus and PL/SQL
- Experience working with Oracle relational databases
- Experience working with Crystal Reports
- Experience working with HTML, HTML5, XML, and Java scripts is an asset
- Experience working with API is an asset
an ability and willingness to adopt new technology and best practices as required.
- Ability to manage crisis situations, which may involve complex technical problems.
- Continuously keeps up to date with the latest technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate technical/complex
- Ability to exercise discretion, judgement and work independently on assigned duties with
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computers and Windows based computer
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility,
- Ability to act in a professional manner and treat endusers with respect and courtesy.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a team.
- Must be able to recognize sensitive information and preserve confidentiality.
- Must be prepared to undergo a Criminal Reference Check as a condition of employment.
$43.03/hr. to $47.81/hr. based on a 35 hour work week.
