    Job Opportunity

    The primary goal of this role is to provide care and comfort for animals within our shelter.

    A basic understanding of animal behavior would be beneficial, but training can be provided on the job. Above all, applicants should have a genuine desire to nurture and care for animals.

    • Ensure the daily cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the shelter by safely cleaning and sanitizing all areas including kennels, cages, runs or any area where animals spend time according to established procedures and protocols.

    Responsibilities include:


    • Safely feeding each animal with personalized diets that meet their nutritional needs,
    • Bathing when required especially cats as well as grooming (hair combing nail clipping etc.),
    • Providing regular exercise opportunities including walking dogs or changing out animals in play rooms,
