_WE'RE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AMBITION, DEDICATION AND LEADERSHIP CNC Lathe/Milling Set Up / Operator _
- work_ independently and overlook multiple machines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: _
- Responsible for the setup and operation of CNC Lathe and Mill machines
- Write and edit programs when needed to meet specified tolerances and surface finishes
- Select, Prepare and Grind all types of tools needed to accurately measure and complete machined parts
- Determine machining requirements _from_ programs, process sheets and blueprints
- Perform final checks using gauges and measuring equipment
- Ensure department housekeeping is maintained
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- Able to read and accurately interpret prints and shop drawings
- Ability to setup and operate CNC Lathes and Mills machines
- Experienced in machining components with tight tolerances such as 5 Microns
- Knowledge of Mastercam is an asset
- Able to determine appropriate precision measuring instruments to analyze components of machined parts to specified tolerances and surface finishes
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Able to _work_ with minimum supervision
- Must be fluent in English, spoken and written
