Join our Team as a Project Engineer in the Mining Industry!

We are looking for a skilled individual to become part of our Project Engineer Mining team in Toronto, ON. As a Project Engineer, your main responsibility involves providing technical leadership to engineering disciplines on various projects. This ensures that work plans align with project goals for quality, health, safety, environment, regulatory standards, schedule, and cost. Duties & Responsibilities

Take on technical leadership for organizing and executing engineering work on projects
Manage engineering and discipline project design activities across different project phases
Lead engineering teams for project delivery focus
Provide day-to-day operational leadership and support for engineering matters
Control engineering work scope based on Contract Documents
Offer guidance on engineering-related matters
Work closely with different teams and parties involved in the project
Ensure contributions to health, safety, environmental, and quality objectives

Qualifications

Join us as a University graduate in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of work experience. Previous experience in project engineering is preferred, along with expertise in areas like Emissions Reduction, Gas Cleaning, Carbon Capture, and/or Sulfuric Acid. Possessing a Professional Engineering Designation (P. Eng) in Ontario is a bonus. Strong understanding of Change Management and experience in Heavy Industrial/Mining and Metallurgy environments are desirable. Showcase your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
