With its team of 1,400 employees, Manac services the heavy-duty trailer industry for the highway transportation, construction, forestry and agricultural sectors and manufactures its trailers in facilities located in Saint-Georges and Laurier-Station, Quebec, Penticton, British Columbia as well as Oran, Missouri.

Trailer Mechanic is responsible for performing various mechanical tasks:

  • Setup and repair of all types of air systems
  • Assembly and repair of all types and makes of suspension
  • General mechanical repairs such as axle, brake, and pintlehook assembly, or repair and replacement of floors, walls, doors, and covers
- installation and repair of all types of electrical systems. Any other task related to the position may also be assigned.


Required qualifications:


  • Training as a mechanic OR more than three years' work experience in the mechanic's field
  • Good spatial reasoning skills to be able to understand, based on diagrams and specifications, the position and connections between parts and components and how they normally function
  • Good ability to read drawings
  • Welding experience
