Full-Time Faculty Position (at the rank of Assistant Professor or if applicable, Associate Professor)
Located on the unceded territory of Anishinaabe Algonquin people, in the heart of the nation's capital, the University of Ottawa is one of Canada's top ten research-intensive universities and is recognized as the first and largest bilingual university in North America.

Bilingualism:
As the University of Ottawa is a bilingual institution, all faculty members in the Faculty of Social Sciences must demonstrate active bilingualism before being granted tenure.
The University offers faculty members and their spouse the opportunity to take courses to improve their second language.Qualifications:
- Demonstrate excellence or the potential for excellence in teaching and research;
- Possess a strong publication and research track record in the field;
- Demonstrated interest in policyrelevant research and policy engagement are strong assets;
- Possess excellent communication skills in either English or French. Active knowledge of the other official language in Canada is a requirement for tenure. Free language training will be provided if needed.

Salary:
The salary range for an Assistant Professor starts at $89,622 (as of May 1, The salary range for an Associate Professor starts at $98,999 (as of May 1, 2023).
