Are you passionate about empowering students and shaping academic excellence? We're seeking a proactive and dedicated

Academic Advisor to be an integral part of our team, supporting and guiding our graduate student community towards success.


Reporting to the Manager, Graduate Programs, the advisor provides administrative management to the OBA Committee and Accreditation process as well as academic advising with graduate students.


What You'll Do:

Provide Academic Guidance: Offer comprehensive academic advising to graduate students, ensuring they receive the support needed to excel in their academic pursuits.

Administer Accreditation Processes: Manage the Undergraduate (UG) accreditation process by coordinating the Outcome Based Assessment (OBA) committee and compiling data for the accreditation submission packages.

Data Management: Overseeing student records, graduate admissions reviews, and scholarship management.

Collaborate and Liaise: Work closely with Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research (FGSR), UR International, and various University committees to streamline processes and enhance student experiences.

Coordinate Activities: Participate in coordinating Faculty activities, including orientation programs, student activities, and other essential initiatives to enrich the student experience.

Position Requirements


What You'll Bring to the Position:

  • Completion of a Master's degree;
  • May accept a Bachelor's degree with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; and
  • Three years experience in a university setting.

  • Excellent organizational skills including a proven ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision, prioritize work and accomplish tasks on time with ongoing interruptions.
Physical Demands Pay Grade APT 4 Salary Range $62,909 - $84,893 Annually Status Term Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4:30 pm, with some flexible hours working evenings or weekends as needed.
