  • You'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the target price work, de-risking the implementation schedule by securing long lead items/ supplier engagement.
  • Developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with Dev Co and the CA, developing mutual trust and understanding.
  • Supporting the procurement of the subcontractors through RFP to financial close on behalf of the CA.
  • Supporting Dev Co to secure market coverage on the target price at each checkpoint and proposal stage.
  • Managing supplier engagement to ensure project awareness in the market and secure the services of the best of the supply chain.
  • Managing early engagement with the supply chain to support the project, with or without agreements in place.
  • Being in charge of early procurement of critical and long lead items.
  • Supporting the procurement manager in the development and deployment of the procurement plan and new processes.
  • Ensuring compliance against their procurement management plan.
  • Validating tendered packages and issuing any non-objections.
  • Ensuring the correct terms and conditions are issued to the supply chain.
  • Addressing and manage project and supply chain delivery issues.
  • You'll need to have:

  • Relevant experience in large engineering and construction projects.
  • Relevant experience working in large teams.
  • Understanding in working with multiple stakeholders in the implementation, deployment, and administration of program procurement initiatives.
  • Deploying and administering procurement initiatives to ensure their deployment and effectiveness in achieving improved project outcomes.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
