JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calibrate and set tooling on the machine before production begins.
• Ensure the machines are regularly checked and cleaned.
• Monitor and control the machine performance and settings.
• Inspect machinery with appropriate tools.
• Notify supervisor of any issues or malfunctions that may occur.
• Check the output of the machines and identify any issues.
• Maintain a log of the activity.
• Strive for efficiency gains where possible.
• Other tasks as assigned.
  

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate.
• Prior experience as a machine operator preferably countersink experience.
• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty machinery.
• Ability to use measurement tools.
• Good understanding of production procedures and best practices.
• Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and handbooks.
• Good physical stamina and keen attention to detail.
• Must be able to multi-task and place priorities in an orderly manner
• Must have good judgement and decision-making abilities
• Must possess time management skills
