Dominion Blueline Inc., Canada's market leader in paper-based office products including notebooks, time management and business forms, is seeking an experienced, aggressive outside territory manager to help drive select Canadian account sales.

Dominion Blueline is a manufacturer of office products who distributes products to retail, commercial and wholesale distributors across Canada.

Dominion Blueline sells products under the Blueline, Brownline, National Brand and Rediform brand names and is the exclusive Canadian distributor for Schneider Pen, a German writing instrument manufacturer.


  • Effectively perform as corporate liaison to the customer base
  • Ensure that sales and profit objectives are achieved
  • Personally manage accounts in Ontario, Rockies and Prairies
  • Provide input to Marketing department to ensure that all products, programs and packaging are appropriate for the key accounts
  • Travel when needed for various presentations, events and company meetings and functions
  • Keep current on market activity, competition and products with relevance to the Blueline brands
  • Develop broad and specific knowledge of our customers and assist in development of marketing strategies for sales situations
  • Successfully present and gain support for new product, programs and initiatives with the account base
  • Manage expenses to maximize productivity
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and business plans
  • Interface with Marketing, Manufacturing, Sales Support and other departments on key issues
  • Investigate new channel opportunities to assist in achievement of sales objectives

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience with retail consumer/commercial oriented manufacturer, ideally in office products, with a proven track record of success
  • Experience in successfully selling to and managing key national accounts
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and creative skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Willingness for occasional travel
