Job Responsibilities:
- Provide topnotch medical assistance to animal patients, assisting veterinarians in examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and administer medications with precision and care.
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring detailed and uptodate documentation of patient histories and treatment plans.
- Manage clinic operations efficiently, overseeing daytoday activities to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Utilize exceptional communication skills to educate pet owners on treatment options, postcare instructions, and preventive measures.
- Proactively engage in client relationship building, utilizing sales skills to promote clinic services and attract new clientele, thereby contributing to the clinic's growth.
Requirements:
- Diploma in a related field (Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, etc.) is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years of handson experience as a Veterinarian Technician, demonstrating proficiency in medical procedures and patient care.
- Proven ability to independently manage clinic operations, showcasing strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Adept at client engagement and sales, with a track record of successfully upselling services and attracting new clients.
- Proficiency in utilizing veterinary software and technology for recordkeeping and diagnostics.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and empathy towards both animals and their owners, fostering a positive and supportive clinic environment.

$22.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 6K5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- veterinary technician: 3 years (preferred)
