POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:


  • Participating in recruitment efforts
  • Maintaining current HR files and databases
  • Updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records
  • Enter employment data into computer database
  • Track and update hourly employee leaves of absence
  • Assist HR supervisors with the hiring process
  • Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process
  • Preparing new employee files
  • Ensuring background and reference checks forms are completed correctly
  • Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and employee training session
  • Scheduling and coordinating of underground locating verification activities
  • Manage reports in a timely manner and input data into systems
  • Preparing, documenting and logging staff/safety meeting minutes and posting on website
  • Other admin duties as assigned

Skills Required:

  • Degree in HRrelated field required
  • CHRP required
  • Must have HR experiences
  • Detailoriented and organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of MS Office and knowledge of basic computer skills
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail
  • A well organized approach to work
  • Team working skills
  • Call Center experiences will be an added advantage
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Able to work independently and in a team atmosphere
  • Able to work fast paced environment
