We are currently hiring for a project located in the Moose Jaw area.


Job description

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Inspect sites for hazards and ensure proper safety controls are in place
• Inspect trucks and equipment prior to use for deficiencies and proper functionality
• Prepare field level hazard assessments
• Operate loaders, zoom boom, skid steer, backhoe, and excavators
• Maintain goodstanding relationships with clients, all on site contractors and the public
• Perform other tasks as assigned
• Actively participate and promote safety related meetings which may include daily toolbox meetings and hazard assessment meetings.
• Must be comfortable and able to work in a safe manner in a High Voltage Setting

Additional Details:

• Work a 10 day on 4 day off shift with 10hr work days
• Have and maintain a class 5 valid driver's license
• Provide acceptable current driver's abstract
• Successfully complete preemployment drug and alcohol testing
• Must be flexible in hours worked, travelling, and working in adverse weather conditions

- additional equipment experience would be an asset

• Lifting and Hoisting experience an asset

• Ground Disturbance Level

• Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate (Excavators, Rollers, Skid Steer, Zoom Boom and other related equipment)

Salary:
$32.00-$37.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Experience:

- skidsteer: 5 years (preferred)

• Excavator: 3 years (preferred)

Zoom Boom: 3 years (preferred)

• 75% (preferred)
