Description

Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to recipes or instructions
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers
Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management when items are running low
Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment after each use
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food quality, sanitation, and safety

Skills:

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry preferred
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and meal preparation methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
