- Training Specialization: Elementary Education with a focus on French Immersion at the Intermediate level
- Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful teaching experience in French Immersion at the Intermediate level
- Fluency in English/French - oral/written - applicant must be willing to take a language proficiency test - oral and written
- Proficiency in written and oral communication in French
- Willingness to have an interview in French with the District's French Language Coordinator
- Willingness to work as part of a team in the development and implementation of the School Growth Plan
- Willingness to support whole school environmental initiatives
- Commitment to school-wide Positive Behaviour Support program as a way to address behavior in the classroom and the school
- Fluent in English and French
- Willingness to support the school's plan for student success
- Willingness to work as part of the school-based team to implement plans for all students

POSITION: Intermediate Teacher - temporary
Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate should have a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch. Additionally, they should possess one or more of the following:
A Reasonable Expectation: Based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, the teacher should be able to perform duties successfully in collaboration with other professional staff.
Additional Qualifications:
A portion of the interview may be conducted in French
The starting annual salary for the full-time temporary Teacher ranges from $59,394 to $106, 217 with placement on the range determined by length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. The Quesnel School District is an equal opportunity employer.
