We seek a Family Lawyer to join our highly motivated, high-velocity, and growing team in Toronto on a hybrid work pattern.

LawY will provide you with the best training, equipment, mentoring, and support for success.

The role will focus on curation of a bespoke, proprietary knowledge base of family law concepts and the verification of AI generated family law content.

It will also include providing advice on content, development, and product to the executive team.

The applicant will further need to be active in beta testing, measuring client satisfaction, and providing recommendations for enhancement and improvement to LawY.

Reporting to the Head of Canada - LawY, you will work closely with a close-knit team passionate about building revolutionary legal research tools for lawyers.


What you'll do; responsibilities and duties (included but not limited):

  • Ensures the LawY AI-generated content is accurate and meets internal standards.
  • Ensures all LawY family law content is optimal for the Canadian market and uptodate.
  • Collaborates with other departments and related companies to improve the core product in family law, such as pushing for improvements in the way LawY can help family law firms.
  • Collaborate with integration partner products, content team, sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure that LawY provides a positive user experience to clients.
  • Assess and implement family law market feedback.
  • Ensure the team stays ahead of any legislation changes to ensure LawY family law content is compliant.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the needs of Family Law lawyers and ensuring clients use LawY in the best possible way.
  • Supports the sales department of LawY and its integration partners nationally including attending seminars etc.

What you'll bring; Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree qualification in law is required
  • 810 years of experience in family law
  • Knowledge of the legal market and legal tech services
  • Through understanding the family law practice in different provinces (ON, BC, and AB)
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, collaborative environment for a global organization
  • Strong detail orientation, work ethic, and a passion for accomplishing challenging goals
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
  • A high degree of organizational and selfmotivational skills
