Kindersley Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires an Equipment Coordinator at their Saskatoon, SK location.

This position is Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

Monitor the status and availability of trailers including reefer, heater, dry van, tandem, tridem 53 foot trailers and single or tandem converters.
Maintain trailer pool for priority customers
Monitor outbound lineup coordinate equipment repositioning
Work with Maintenance and Safety Departments to position trailers for safety, service, risk requirements
Validate yard checks
Communicate with city pickup or delivery information to the local Branches across Canada
Work with the assigned fleet of Drivers numbering between 610 communicating all local pickup and deliveries
Monitor on time service
Obtain PODs for any local deliveries
Complete all TMW computer work
Communicate anomalies with CSRs (OS&D, Late, Rebooks, Redeliveries)
Maintain optimum utilization of City Drivers
Validate Driver Trip Sheets for payroll and submit for payment

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in an operational role within the transportation industry
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to work under pressure
Experience with computerized dispatch
Familiar with highway line haul regulations and requirements
Knowledge of transportation regulations, tractor and trailer equipment and a central dispatch environment would be ideal
