About the Opportunity:


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition
  • Successful completion of a dietetic internship program accredited by Dietitians of Canada
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred
  • Registration with Nova Scotia Dietetic Association is required
  • Certified Diabetes Educator, or able to obtain within 3 years of being employed in a Diabetes Management Centre
  • Willing to complete requirements to enact associated care directives
  • Experience in adult education and demonstrated knowledge of adult education principles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle to travel for work
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:


  • Long assignment, parttime (60%) position; 45 hours biweekly (ex: Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • Approximately 14 months
  • Shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $43.43 Hourly
