About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition
- Successful completion of a dietetic internship program accredited by Dietitians of Canada
- Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred
- Registration with Nova Scotia Dietetic Association is required
- Certified Diabetes Educator, or able to obtain within 3 years of being employed in a Diabetes Management Centre
- Willing to complete requirements to enact associated care directives
- Experience in adult education and demonstrated knowledge of adult education principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle to travel for work
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
A skills test maybe required as part of the screening process.
Hours:
- Long assignment, parttime (60%) position; 45 hours biweekly (ex: Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
- Approximately 14 months
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $43.43 Hourly
