The Opportunity:
Consor is currently looking for a CAD Technician for our design group in the Mississauga office. As a dynamic and growing engineering consulting firm, Consor is full of opportunities for career development.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Undertake preliminary and detailed engineering design work for rural or urban road, highway and Bridge improvement projects utilizing design, in roads, AutoCAD and Microstation CAD software.
Manage multiple projects and junior technical staff that may be assigned to provide technical support.
Conduct quality control reviews.
Prepare tender documents.
Liaise and coordinate with the project team.
Undertake construction liaison as needed.
Mentor and supervise junior technicians.
Liaise with clients and agencies.

Required Credentials:

A graduate of a 3year college level civil engineering program.
Certified Engineering Technologist designation would be an asset.
Strong working Knowledge of AutoCAD & MicroStation experience in Civil 3D, Inroads and / or Open Roads would be an asset.
Working knowledge of Excel, WORD, and Outlook
Strong aptitude for learning new software and design skills
03 years' progressive experience in municipal or urban development engineering.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team environment
