The opportunity:


Reporting to the Lead-Wealth & Products Administration, the Wealth Products Coordinator will come to the role with strong communication skills to provide exceptional and timely administrative support to Advisors and their Associates by playing an integral role as the main point of contact for the Wealth & Products team.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Completing research and providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries from Investment Advisor teams and staff (including trading, service and assessing/mitigating operational errors on discretionary platforms)
  • Processing account set ups in our internal programs. This includes coding account appropriately on Thompson systems, maintaining and adjusting account setups as well quality check and controls on various processes.
  • Being the liaison with custodians (National Bank Financial), vendors and internal parties with the goal of providing exceptional service to the advisory teams.
  • Collecting data, validation and monitoring of trade execution and correction from a service and control perspective.
  • Researching, gather and examine data to develop valuable insights, provide solutions and process improvements for the team.
  • Assisting in and support reporting requirements for the operational business unit and have periodic communication on reporting with senior management team as well as finance. This role will also provide service support to our sales team.
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • A bachelors degree or diploma in business administration, accounting, or similar field of study is recommended
  • Experience in the wealth management space is an asset.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; particularly in Excel
  • An excellent problemsolving skills with a willingness to be proactive and offer solutions
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
