Clinical Physiotherapist I, Permanent Part Time

Definition of work:
Reporting to the Manager of Cardiopulmonary & Rehabilitative Services (with clinical supervision and professional practice oversight provided by the Physiotherapy Clinical Lead) the Clinical Physiotherapist I will be working as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team. The clinical physiotherapist I is responsible for professional physiotherapy work in the promotion of health, prevention, and treatment of physically disabled, acute, and chronically ill patients. This position may also be required to support the delivery of physiotherapy services to designated regional sites and long-term care facilities within Central Zone. Regional travel may be required. The successful candidate will be committed to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements.
Required qualifications:
* Graduated from a School of Physiotherapy approved by Central Zone.
* Current registration or be eligible for registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists.
* Consistent demonstration of Central Health's corporate values; Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence (ICARE)
* A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
* A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority.
Preferred qualifications:
* Experience in Physiotherapy.
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours biweekly (Shift work may be required)
Salary: CG-41 ($40.11-$47.30)
