Description

Following rapid expansion of new client initiatives, the Fujitsu SaaS practice is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Platform Operations/sustainment lead, with strong ServiceNow or related consulting experience to join our dynamic solutions team.


Role and Accountabilities:


This opportunity will suit a motivated ServiceNow Developer with a demonstrated record of offering ServiceNow related design and development support, successfully delivering on a wide range of ServiceNow related technical engagements.


  • Overseeing the daily operations of the ServiceNow platform, including monitoring, and responding to platformrelated issues and incidents.
  • Ensuring the platform is configured and optimized to meet the organization's specific requirements and needs.
  • Developing and maintaining platformrelated policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborating with development teams to implement new platform features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Managing and monitoring platform performance and capacity to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Participating in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity in the event of a platformrelated outage.
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of platform security and access controls to ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations.
  • Maintaining the platform's software and hardware infrastructure, including updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Providing guidance and support to platform users and business stakeholders on best practices and usage.
  • Staying current with new platform features and capabilities, as well as industry trends and best practices in platform operations.


The ServiceNow Platform Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring the platform is reliable, scalable, secure, and available to support the organization's business objectives and initiatives.

They work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and other IT teams to ensure that the platform is delivering value to the organization.


Qualifications:


Skills and Experience Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience (Platform operations, Sustainment/Maintenance of ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management Platform).
  • At least two full lifecycle implementations in the role of a lead consultant
  • Experience as Process Consultant/ Business analyst at an enterprise level, or large implementation projects.
  • Must be able to understand business goals and objectives to determine the right fit to the platform.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practices
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator

Preferred:


  • ITIL v3 certification
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation development and Customer Presentation skills
  • Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities
