Job Description:

The Trade Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for making sure that all Trade related vendors are paid both timely and accurately.

The Trade Accounts Payable Manager has a team of Accounts Payable Clerks and Analysts responsible for the payment of scrap metal materials and freight charges.

Goto resource for all purchasing and Trade Accounts Payable related issues and inquiries.
Monitor and expedite the purchasing of scrap materials and processing of accruals with various stakeholders (Traders, Finance, Contracts Team)
Ensuring we are fulfilling AIM's commercial terms to our vendors / customers.
Report and followup on unpurchased scrap with various stakeholders
Act as a key support individual to the purchasing team
Participates and act on process improvement initiatives.
Review payments and associated backup prior to approval by finance

Qualifications:

5+ Years of relevant experience
Excellent attention to detail, organizational & interpersonal skills
Customer Service Centric
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook and Excel)
Ability to effectively communicate & prioritize in a fastpaced team environment
Strong analytical and reporting skills
A proactive approach to problemsolving with strong decisionmaking skills
Proven leadership ability with experience managing change and motivating staff
Some knowledge of identifying metal alloys is considered an asset, but not required
College or University degree in Accounting or Administration fields
