    Wood is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Calgary or Edmonton, AB to join our busy and growing Oil & Gas Canada team due to growth in our business

    Leading a team of engineers and technologists across a portfolio of projects within our In Situ market segment

    Assuring compliance with Engineering Procedures and quality control standards

    Supporting in the development of estimates for engineering work

    Completing progress reporting, attending project meetings and providing workhour forecasts

    Interfacing with various engineering disciplines and suppliers


    Project Execution:

    Project Execution responsibilities may include:
    Reviewing, specifying and validating sizing for field instrumentation (Pres/Temp/Flow/Level), Control Valves, on/off valves and PSV's

    Preparing and reviewing control deliverables such as Control Narrative, Cause and Effect diagram, and Control system architecture

    Instrumentation Technologist / Bachelors in Science, Engineering from an accredited University or College

    Experience in the oil and gas sector such as: Well Pads, SAGD, In Situ or pipeline gathering

    Has the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects

    Experience in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/Intools) is an asset
