  • Assists Builder in ensuring complete adherence to Digreen Homes Inc.'s construction processes
  • Assists Builder in managing construction from carpentry to warranty service request signoff. Assumes shared responsibility for each home meeting all standards, including QA ready
  • Monitor and document all daily trade functions: timeliness, quality of workmanship, completion of work, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications;
  • Walks all homes daily to ensure imperfections are noted, Building Code is adhered to, and Homebuyers' Options and Extras are done
  • Make the Site Supervisor aware of any conflicts within plans and/or between specifications and plans
  • Adheres to procedures as required by the trade Scopes of Work and Digreen Quality Standards. Takes corrective action, as necessary
  • Assists the Builder in managing to Production Schedule
  • Assists Builder in supervising onsite construction staff, including the scheduling of subcontractor's inspectors and suppliers on the job, resolving daytoday problems on the job site, inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, and resolving construction problems
  • Assists in ordering all materials required to construct houses
  • May attend municipal inspections. Assists Inspectors with the completion of review and rectifies issues as required
  • Perform daily inspections to ensure imperfections are noted.
  • Resolve daytoday problems on the job site, manage the trades, keeping sites clean
  • Ensure all construction documents are up to date and make sure trades are following the required changes on site. Also, maintain a set of working drawings noting all changes for quick crossreference
  • Communicates and coordinates activities with trade partners to ensure smooth production operation
  • Write daily reports; inputs all data into builder software program
  • Ensures all work being done in a safe manner and enforces safety standards and laws within position's scope of authority
  • Ensures homes are as clean and aesthetically appealing as possible while under construction
  • Postsecondary education/Community College in related field (e.g. Construction Engineering Technology) and proven experience working as a Junior Site Supervisor Assistant or minimum 12 years' experience in homebuilding industry
  • Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
  • The ability to interpret blueprints and Architectural and Engineering drawings and detailed drawings.
  • Experience using Builderlynx would be considered an asset
  • People management experience as asset
  • Outstanding leadership skills.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and managing skills.
  • Able to lift a maximum of 50lbs
  • Must have a valid driver's license and regular access to a vehicle
  • Basic understanding of Ontario Building Codes and Health & Safety regulations
  • Selfstarter who leads by example and readily assumes responsibility for results; readily takes on greater responsibility
  • Good organizational skills and experience using basic tools such as todo lists, day timer, logbook, daily followup
