Position Summary
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will support the Logistics team in a range of accountabilities as noted below.
Accountabilities
- Update daily records of inbound shipments (daily feed report and feed pipeline)
- Support the Logistics team with tracking outbound shipments on Ocean and Rail, and updating schedule data daily
- Manager records of all approved invoices for all inbound and outbound shipments
- Create packing lists for byproduct shipments on a weekly basis
- Update inbound feed vessel schedule and forecast
- Maintain and update Logistics KPI reports on a weekly basis
- Provide backup for small quantity and domestic shipments
- Prepare customs declaration for all outbound shipments
Qualifications and Skills
- 12 years' experience with shipping/logistics or related
- Data entry, document management and file creation experience required
- Experience with MS Office (specifically Excel) and data programs
- Customer service oriented communication skills
- Familiarity with administrative duties
- Attention to detail, able to multitask and prioritize based on urgency
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
