Receiver

Responsibilities

Receive inbound replenishment orders (Home Truck, Vendor direct etc)
Reconcile over/short report from truck and vendors
Tag customer special orders as they arrive and route to appropriate holding areas.
Prepare claims/returns/totes and accompanying paperwork to be returned to Home on a weekly basis
Routinely clean and tidy the receiving room and keep an organized work area.
Process weekly price changes
Claims processing with Inventory Control Specialist.
Item maintenance as required to attach barcodes to vendor items / quick finds(faucets,tools,lighting)
Locate missing product
Sign making / laminating
Assist merchandising team when available with general merchandising throughout the store.
Check store supply stock(Bags, Special order sticker pads, water jugs/caps, Shrink wrap,hang tabs, etc.) and order as needed
Serving customers while on the sales floor.
Contact Home for replacement parts (toilet tanks etc.)
Check backorders/out of season/canceled
Keep track of and fulfill partial orders
Work with Inventory Control Specialist to perform routing weekly cycle counts
Work with management to set priorities and establish goals.

Qualifications:

Organized and Proactive.
Self Starter.
Ability to work independently and achieve desired results
Must possess excellent time management skills
Knowledge of home improvement products.
Safety Minded.
Possess strong communication skills and contribute effectively as part of a large and dynamic team.

Detail Oriented

Ability to construct an aesthetically pleasing display or replenish/merchandise a depleted looking section.

Retailminded

Able to work closely with customers in a positive manner.
Ability to move heavy items such as 50 pound boxes of nails, and 5 gallon pails of paint.
Flexibility with scheduling and willing to work weekends.
