Description
In this crucial role, you will execute cleaning and sanitization tasks as outlined in on site Job Task Procedures (JTP's) during a varying shift schedule.

Responsibilities and requirements include:
- Clean and Sanitize surfaces using dedicated chemicals and following a set route and schedule.
- Use dedicated equipment and tools to company specifications
- Some lifting involved
- Ensure all safety requirements are met such as personal protective equipment, WHMIS, lockout/tag out procedures, and chemical mixing precautions
- Comply with government regulations relating to food processing facilities
- Willingness to work various shifts, Including nights
- Team player with excellent mechanical ability
- Work Independently to complete your assigned tasks
Qualifications:
- Oneyear (1) year of previous sanitization experience in a GMP environment. an asset
- Keen eye for cleanliness and safe use of chemicals
- Dedicated, articulate, attention to detail
- High School level education.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- High level of attention to detail, especially with regards to documentation and logging for auditing purposes.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing.
- Be knowledgeable in sanitation procedures (production equipment cleanup/setup, and building services)
- Previously demonstrated excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication, and a knack for problemsolving.
- Open to change and multitasking
Working Conditions:
- 97% indoors. There may be moments you will be tasked of stepping out of the building depending on your responsible areas
- Some locations may have unpleasant odour
- You may work in areas that are heavily soiled
- You will be working independently but as a team unit towards outlined location goals
