What you will do


The Project Coordinator will manage a portfolio of projects, coordinating with the customer, design manager, construction manager, subcontractors, and technicians.


How you will do it

  • Set up and maintain construction project files
  • Manage the installation of Simplex/Tyco fire alarm & security equipment at customer sites, ensuring a professional, timely and costeffective installation process
  • Correspond with Contractors with Startup and Close out of projects
  • Responsible for purchase order control, management and maintenance
  • Responsible for construction billing, accounts receivable/payable
  • Project primary point of contact for corporate for AR status reporting and follow up of open AR in project portfolio
  • Track, follow up & expedite construction material to job site
  • Manpower schedule maintenance and control
  • Review timesheets to ensure coded correctly by technicians prior to entry
  • Submit construction shop drawing packages, if and when required
  • Attend Work In Progress Meetings and track cost to complete
  • Complete construction safety paperwork including hazard assessment, safety meetings and incident report filing and maintenance, as necessary
  • Perform additional duties as required

What we look for

  • 2 or more years of experience as a Construction Coordinator or Junior Project Coordinator/Admin is preferred
  • Strong Fire Alarm installation knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and proficiency with online systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external customers
  • Adept at working in a fastpaced, customer oriented environment
  • Demonstrated time management, organizational and conflict resolution abilities
