We are growing and seeking a driven and experienced Regional Outside Sales Manager to join our team


We are a North American leader in the supply of safe access equipment, fall protection, loading platforms, racks and loading arms.

Turnkey solutions from quoting the products through to installation.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with new & existing customers to secure continuing sales and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Attains individual and group sales objectives.
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients in Alberta.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales quotes/contracts.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client relationships and increase business within Alberta.
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other followup.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, followup, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new products and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
  • Followup for collection of payment.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an outside sales role.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong decision making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills are required.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Travel is a requirement of this position & applicants must be willing and have the ability to travel. The expectation is that the regional sales manager is out of the office in their assigned territory making customer visits and sales calls approximately 50% of the time.

Pay:
$70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
