Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
  • Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
  • Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer requests
  • Package baked goods for display or takeout orders
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery needs

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with cake decorating techniques is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Skills:


  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure products are ready on time
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Requirements:


  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by the bakery's schedule

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
