Reporting to the Director of IT Development, the Manager, CRM Applications will be responsible for managing and optimizing BioScript's Salesforce practice.

They will build a small team of Salesforce specialists to operate alongside our development teams, partner with various third parties, and provide insight into Salesforce best practices for development, management, integrations, etc.


How you will make an impact

  • Provide coaching, career development and performance management to direct reports.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce to meet the organization's needs.
  • Manage relationships with Salesforce consultants, 3rdparty vendors, and app providers.
  • Implement and manage custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality or data.
  • Lead and participate in Salesforcerelated projects.
  • Plan and execute Salesforce releases, including testing and deployment.
  • Provide support to Salesforce users, addressing their issues and helping them make the most of the platform.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, in partnership with Change Management and Learning & Development, to ensure users are proficient in using Salesforce.
  • Manage integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
  • Work with the Information Security team to Implement and maintain security settings, profiles, and roles, and to monitor and ensure compliance with security best practices.
  • Stay informed about Salesforce updates and assess their impact on the organization's instance.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.
  • Work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, coordinating more complex reporting requirements with relevant data strategy/reporting teams.
  • Act as custodian for Salesforce data quality and governance.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and/or 3rd parties for complex problem resolution.
  • Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Align Salesforce solutions with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide input into the development of the overall IT and business strategy.
  • Lead and participate in solution design, architecture, and review process
  • Evaluate and recommend new apps or solutions that enhance Salesforce functionality.

What you'll bring to our team

  • 7+ years experience delivering quality Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or similar, solutions
  • 4+ years experience with Salesforce platform management (administration, configuration, development, etc.)
  • Experience in the pharma / specialty healthcare industries is an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce Heath Cloud is a significant asset.
  • Currency, and ability to stay current, with Salesforce releases and new features.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively influence and motivate others.
  • Analytical mindset to identify and solve complex issues.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Collaborate with developers, administrators, business users, and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in technology, business processes, and organizational structure.
  • Project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor Salesforce projects.
  • Leadership qualities to guide and mentor a team of Salesforce administrators and developers.
  • Understand business processes and requirements to align Salesforce solutions with organizational objectives.
