At Blissful Living Home Care Services, we are looking for a full-time service coordinator to join our team

The service coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to both client care and service coordination.

The service coordinator will work together with caregivers and family members of clients. The service coordinator will be a key member of the administrative and operations team and caregivers. The service coordinator will also conduct research and identify new leads for the home care business.


Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients/create business leads.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Group Homes, Nursing Homes, and other allied healthcare professionals in territory.
  • Respond quickly and knowledgeably to customer inquiries.
  • Understand and respond to local market needs and competition.
  • Developing professional yet friendly relationships with our caregivers, clients, and family members.
  • Coordinate/conduct home care consultations, introductions, and QA visits.
  • Scheduling and coordinating employees and customers.
  • Accurate record keeping by entering caregiver and client information.
  • Manage weekly scheduling needs.
  • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets and report as required on progress.
  • Participate with the manager on planning and forecasting sales and growth areas for the business.
  • Attend training as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends.
  • Demonstrate positive, productive customer service and coworker relationships.
  • Provide feedback as to how to improve our services for our customers and create positive environment for our staff.

Job Requirements:

  • A postsecondary degree in healthrelated field with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the health care setting.
  • Critical eye for details and innovation.
  • Excellent Written / Verbal negotiation skills.
  • Must have knowledge of working on computers and ability to learn management software.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of customer care ethics.
  • The ability to thrive in a highpaced and selfmanaged environment where you can put your detailedoriented and organizational skills to good use.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Must have valid Class 5 licence with car and insurance.
  • Must be able to provide a recent criminal background check and vulnerable sector check.
  • Must adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to document clients' problems and concerns accurately and clearly.
  • Social media engagement skills.
  • Critical thinking and strong problemsolving skills.

Job Types:
Permanent, Full Time


Salary:
$24 to $28 per hour
