Business Partner, Communications and Brand


OEC is seeking a highly motivated Business Partner, Communications and Brand to join our growing team Working in a non-routine and vibrant environment, the individual will work with the Marketing and Communications team to advance elements of the Strategy and work with Business Leaders to enhance and develop customized campaigns, communications, marketing, and digital media materials.


About the Role
As the Business Partner, Communications and Brand, you are an important member of the Corporate Development team.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications and Brand Experience, this role will proactively support the growth and reputation of the organization by delivering impactful marketing and communication activities.

In addition, the role will support the brand and culture programs.

Responsibilities include:

This role will support day-to-day and long-term communications, marketing, and brand initiatives. Managing and maintaining content both externally and internally for various businesses nationally is a key responsibility. The role will also support corporate initiatives. As part of the role the incumbent will create marketing collateral
(sell sheets, project sheets, advertisements), external and internal communications, event and promotional materials, news releases, and website and social media communications.

  • Designing, developing, and producing marketing programs and campaigns (digital and traditional) while ensuring brand integrity and consistency
  • Creating and implementing content strategies for website, social media platforms, employee communications, and public relations initiatives
  • Supporting the preparation of, participating in, and attending brand events (trade shows, promotional, and customer events) both traditional and virtual, to facilitate and ensure a successful outcome
  • Collaborating and participating in corporate and strategic initiatives when required
  • Conducting market research, analyses, and providing campaign results for measurable outcomes
  • Managing, auditing, and reporting compliance with all brand standards and guidelines
  • Coordinating and creating responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), and presentations for business opportunities

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:


  • A university degree or college diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in developing content and marketing materials, collateral, and campaigns
  • Proven experience and knowledge using social media platforms in a professional environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, writing, and communications skills
  • Solid proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) marketing tools or other creative platforms is an asset
  • Experience with content management programs, basic CSS and HTML language knowledge is an asset
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and dependability
